• Gem Quote does not employ any professionals, including but not limited to designers, therapists, mechanics, or tradespeople. The AI does not have professional qualifications in any trade or field;

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy

3. Your Responsibility as the Sender

When you send a quote to a customer — whether via WhatsApp, email, SMS, a shared link, PDF or any other method — you are the sender and you take full legal and commercial responsibility for its contents.

By sending a quote generated through Gem Quote, you confirm:

• You have reviewed the quote and are satisfied it accurately reflects the work you intend to carry out;
• The prices, labour rates, materials and scope are correct and reflect your actual costs and intentions;
• You have complied with any regulatory or legal requirements applicable to quoting in your industry under UK law;
• You accept sole responsibility for any contract formed as a result of a customer accepting the quote.

Gem Quote is not a party to any contract formed between you and your customers. We have no involvement in the performance, completion, payment, or dispute resolution of any job quoted through the Service.

4. No Liability for Business Losses

This includes but is not limited to:

• Losses caused by quoting too low and carrying out work at a financial loss;
• Losses caused by quoting too high and losing business as a result;
• Customer disputes arising from a quote that differs from the actual cost of work;
• Legal costs, penalties or regulatory fines arising from a quote that does not comply with industry regulations;
• Loss of business reputation caused by sending an inaccurate or unprofessional quote;
• Tax liabilities arising from incorrect VAT calculations in AI-generated quotes.

5. Third-Party Services

Gem Quote relies on third-party services including Anthropic (AI), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), and Netlify (hosting). We are not responsible for:

• Service interruptions, errors, or data loss caused by third-party providers;
• Changes to the behaviour or capabilities of the underlying AI model;
• The accuracy or reliability of any third-party pricing data or market information used by the AI;
• Payment processing errors or failures caused by Stripe or other payment providers.
